Draft of OIG’s 2016 Audit Plan Available for Public Comment

The City of Chicago Office of Inspector General (OIG) has published a draft of the 2016 Annual Plan for its Audit and Program Review Section. The Plan includes information on audits that OIG is currently considering for 2016, follow-up audits that are likely to occur in 2016, ongoing projects, and audits completed year to date.

OIG is soliciting comments from City Council, City Hall, and the public. OIG will consider all comments in finalizing its 2016 Audit Plan. The 2016 Audit Plan will set forth intended subjects for audit but will not provide an order of priority. Work contemplated by the Plan will remain fluid with audits added and adjusted according to a variety of factors such as new events and information as well as resources available.

The Plan is available for review and comment at http://bit.ly/2016ADP

We encourage you to comment on the Plan by emailing us at, OIGNoticeandComment@ChicagoInspectorGeneral.org
