Lise Valentine

Deputy Inspector General

Lise Valentine is Deputy Inspector General for Audit and Program Review. Prior to joining the office in December 2011 she served as Vice President and Director of Research at the Civic Federation, a non-partisan governmental research organization. She conducted and led research on government efficiency, transparency and tax policy at the Civic Federation since 2003.

Lise has served as a trustee of the Governmental Research Association, an elected Commissioner and Treasurer of the Park District of Oak Park and a member of advisory task forces to the Governmental Accounting Standards Board.

She earned a B.A. from McGill University and a Ph.D. from the University of Iowa.
